In the vineyard of Cocconato, called Del Marusè (sign. mediator) for the ability of the previous owner to combine marriages, are grown grapes from ALBAROSSA BIOLOGICAL, , from which this wine is produced.
It is a vine developed by prof. Franco Dalmasso in 1937 obtained from the pollination of Barbera with mountain Nebbiolo (Dronero or Chatus).
After a selective manual harvest, with sorting of the perfectly ripe grapes, follows the traditional vinification of the grapes in purity with maceration of 10/15 days. The carefully controlled fermentation up to the malolactic is followed by 12 months of aging in barriques of 2° / 3° pass.
A deep ruby red colour, a full, vinous scent with hints of freshly ripe red fruit and a delicate herbaceous trail, all extremely balanced. It ennobles the smell of a very pleasant mineral nuance.
In the mouth it is elegant and fresh, balanced with savory persistence. It is a wine of remarkable structure that lends itself to pairing with Piedmontese appetizers and succulent dishes.

Fermented in the bottle, this rosé Nebbiolo with sediment can be disgorged or shaken to become opalescent.
Its color is light copper with amber hues. Rich in aromas of thyme and herbs, white fruit, pears, quinces and citrus fruits.
