Albarossa grapes, which this wine is produced from, are cultivated biologically (ICEA Certification)in Cocconato d’Asti vineyards called Del Marusè, because of the old owner’s ability in combining weddings, all located in south east direction.
This grape is a clone developed by Prof. Franco Dalmasso in 1931 and got by the pollination between Barbera and Mountain Nebbiolo.
After a selective manual harvest of the perfect matured grapes , it follows a traditional vinification with a maceration lasting 10/15 days. After the fermentation  which is carefully checked till the malo-lactic one, the is put in used barriques for 12 months.

It has a deep ruby hue,  vinous in character with scents of sour black cherries and a delicate fruity nose. It has an intense and almost pulpy taste.

It is a round wide body wine and can perfectly match with different foods: first dishes served with meat or mushrooms sauces, meat dishes or cheeses and sausages.  Serve at 17-20 °C.
